December Gift Drive

Holiday season is just around the corner and KASA is holding a December Gift Drive for 'Ricesticks and Tea'. Rice Sticks and Tea (RST) is an Asian Food Pantry that serves the Boston area's Asian community, low income, non- or limited- English speaking immigrants. As an organization that provides culturally appropriate food staples and linguistically appropriate services, RST is dedicated to bettering the lives of over 120 families or 300 adults, children and elderly each and every month. The December Gift Drive is a special holiday program aimed at giving each family member one small gift, from a generous heart.
Please donate one gift to the KASA and Ricesticks and Tea December Gift Drive! A gift collection box will be stationed at the AAC shortly or you are encouraged to bring your unwrapped gifts ($20 -- less, or more) to our next GM on Wednesday, December 8th. The Ricesticks and Tea organizer has requested that we shop specifically for seniors. She mentioned that food-related care packages (non-perishable, Asian friendly ;)), health and wellness/beauty care packages (i.e. lotions, soaps) and warm hats, gloves and scarves are most needed. Please help us help the greater Boston Asian community in need!
